Last week was a big week for Eli! He had a little bit of a cold, but it didn't slow him down or break his spirits. (It sure worried mom and dad, though - we didn't sleep much.)
First, Eli turned 4 months old on Tuesday! And, to show what a big boy he is, in one quick motion while getting ready for bath time ... Eli picked up his teddy bear, tucked it right under his arm, shut his eyes (as if pretending to sleep) and started sucking his thumb. It was so cute!
Next, he had a well-baby check-up at the doctor. He measured in the 95th percentile for height and 50th percentile for weight. (14.11 lbs and 26.1 inches long) He also had 5 shots and was a tough little guy.
Then, he got to have cereal for the first time. I think more of it ended up on mommy, daddy and the bib, but we're improving. (Grandpa Miller keeps asking Eli if it was Lucky Charms - and Eli just laughs!)
Finally, in the last week, Eli has been able to see lots of family! He saw Grandpa Miller & Marciann, Grandma & Grandpa Manship, Aunt Becky, Great-Garmie, Ellie (who babysat for the first time), Aunt Barb, Uncle Todd, Uncle Tim, Dylan, Sam and probably a few more I've missed.
