We had an amazing crop of tomatoes from our garden this year. Literally hundreds of tomatoes!
So, thanks to Aunt Barb & Uncle Bill, we were able to save them for future use by canning most of them. We spent several weekend afternoons and weeknights canning the tomatoes, making soup and salsa. It was a lot of fun and amazingly relaxing. The first batch took at least 5 calls to Mammaw Manship and a couple to Uncle Bill - then, it was smooth sailing.
