Daddy was studying for the CPA exam this weekend so we thought all of our robust activity might be a bit of a distraction - we have lots of activity in the Manship house these days! :)
Sooooo, we took a road trip!
Garmie, Mary, Eli, Luke and Mommy decided to visit Aunt Mary Lou in Fort Wayne. It was a great time! We arrived on Friday night. On Saturday, we had breakfast and went to Aunt Mary Lou's. We had great visit time w/ "Aunt Mawry Woo", as Eli pronounces it, and she was able to hold Lukey for a few minutes. I think we might have been a little more energy than the Town House is used to so Mary, Mommy, Eli and Luke went out for a bit to let Garmie and Mary have extra visit time. With a lot of luck, we found our way to the zoo! It was wonderful!!!! We then took Aunt Mary Lou and Garmie Wendy's for dinner and headed off to bed at the hotel. On Sunday, we had the chance to take Aunt Mary Lou out for a walk for a while and visited a bit more at her house before heading home.
It was a really fun weekend and we can't wait to do it again! Here are few pics (more to come!).
Note: Mommy wasn't expecting the zoo trip so I only had one stroller. We used Garmie's wheel chair for Eli. A moment I will always remember is Eli "going splat" because he had takend off the seat belt without our knowledge. We hit a rough patch and he went "splat" right into a path of mulch and dirt. He was not worried about the fall, but was spread eagle on the ground crying because "he got dirty!" (Any guesses who he gets that from?!?!) :)
