This is Eli's second year to do the summer reading program at the Library. It was so funny to watch him turn in his list to the librarians and then pick out prizes. He was big boy enough to carry everything up to the kid's reference desk all by himself for the librarian's inspection and really didn't need mom's help in picking out prizes. We read a lot of different books, but his favorite books this summer have been:
- Little Engine That Could (Or, "Choo Choo Book", according to Eli)
- I am a Promise (Or, "I am Book" according to Eli)
- Anything Thomas the Train
- Little Golden Book's story of Paul Revere (Or, Pa Wevere, according to Eli)
- Sesame Street Guessing Game books of any kind
- Little Lamb's Christmas (why not read it in July?) :)
