Tonight I said, "Eli, can you get two books to read before bed?"
He went to the book shelf and brought two books back to me.
We read both books twice and then I said, "Eli, are you ready for bed?"
Eli wriggled off my lap, grabbed my finger, led me to his bedroom and pointed to his crib.
Amazing how quickly he's growing up. Certainly, a moment etched on this mommy's heart.
