What a wonderful night! It was U of I alumni night at Victory Field so we decided to celebrate with Daddy's alma mater and see a baseball game. The best part is that we got to spend the night with Haley, Dan and Kelly, too!
We arrived at the game at 7:00, saw our friends the Wade's on the way into the field, and then met up with the Miller crew right away. We had a great picnic dinner of burgers, hot dogs, and delicious side dishes. Eli had his first taste of a hot dog --- quite appropriate for it to be at a baseball game, don't you think?
Eli got to spend almost an hour, I think, sharing a chair in the stadium with cousin Haley. They had a great time! The weather was perfect, the sunset was beautiful and the company was great.
Can't wait to go again next season!
