Election Day (A Day with Mommy!)

Mommy had election day off. It was so much fun and so great to have a special day together! Eli actually slept in a little bit so Mommy did, too. ("Sleeping in" with Eli means getting up at 7am.) After breakfast, Eli got to wear shorts for the day - it was his first day to wear shorts since we've had such a cool spring. You can tell he was having fun!

We, of course, took time to vote - and it was so nice, we walked to the polling location at City Hall. Eli slept peacefully the whole time. We then met Daddy for lunch and played all afternoon!

Dad and mom had a great time telling Eli all about the importance of this particular election (and guessing which family/friends participated in Operation Chaos) - and he even got to stay up a little later than normal. Mommy cannot wait until the next day together!!!!
